Sketch the graph of "y = -2x + 1" using gradient, y-intercept method?

Hello, I have an exam coming up for maths and I would love to know what the Gradient, y-intercept method is. I have to sketch the graph from scratch. I know y = mx+c, but this question is different. Help would be very much appreciated!
