Why won't liberals admit Obama is Bush on steriods?

I use to be a Democrat and hated Bush in high school in California because of the Wars, the Debt and the patriot act. Now Obama is president and he has renewed the patriot act, we have bigger wars and now a war in libya, we have bigger fiscal deficits than ever. I was against the Bush bailouts Obama seems to have more and more. We also have body scanners. HOW IS OBAMA NOT BUSH ON STEROIDS???????????????????? I don't understand? Please fill me in?
