Please answer for this about seculation theory?

Religion is human history as interpreted by the imagination. Poetry, movies, all the arts, are also interpretations of human experience. Our destiny as humans, to suffer, get older, get sick and to die, is not so inspiring. We want more than that. Religion promises more, in imaginative stories, symbols, metaphors, poetry, ceremony. Movies do the same, and for many are a religious experience.
