ATWT: Scruffy Holden...?

Ok so I stopped watching As the world turns when they kicked Mike Kasnoff off the show. But the other day I decided to turn on the television and see what my old friends from oakdale were up to. Apparently Luke and Noah are having problems because luke asked Holden if he could move back in. Holden agreed but when they put the camera on him his hair was all messy and he looked like a scruff bag. Now since I started watching, Holden has always had scruffy hair, but I always thought that was because of the affair and separation and rough times in his life, so he had a good excuse. But Now that hes sorted out his life I thought he would look nice and neat by now but he doesn't... why is he so scruffy all the time?
