Is the American banking system on the auction block?

Auction Block, not hardly. Selling stock and shares is what a public company does. What this tells me, is foreign investors are trying to buy at a bargain and gain US Market share to diversify their portfolios. Which makes sense, it protects them when the dollar and market rebound.
