Painting - Just bought a house that needs some work?

We are going to be closing soon. It needs some work fast so we can move in it. It needs a good deep cleaning. And we are also going to try and get most of it painted inside. Any suggestions. We also need to tak up some carpet nails and finish the wood flooring. So any suggestions on the wood flooring and also painting.
