Are liverpool th one's to blame for man utd being 1st?

Im a liverpool fan and even though were doing quite well this season only losing 1 game in the league i still think it's our fault man utd are ahead of us...draws with stoke,hull,blackburn,west ham,bolton....we should be the 1z laughing right now
