Why is it ok for a woman to ask a man to "prove" his love or trust, but not vice versa?

If you're with a mature adult, they don't ask you to "prove" your love or trust. And if either of you has suspicions about cheating, your relationship is in serious trouble--you need some relationship CPR. I don't believe in marriage, so I don't have to deal with prenups. But if I did think marriage was ok, I wouldn't care about prenups one way or another-marriage is about property and finances, and if either of you think it's just about "love", you're not facing reality. Again, a mature adult knows the deal.
