Steel toed boots....fashion statement/defense weapon?

Okay everybody Ever since i got my steel toed boots like at the beginning of the school year i have worn them every day, day in day out. I like them they are comfortable to me and i like how they look. I wore them with everything. not just jeans. I wore them with jeans,shorts,sweatpants, wind pants. everything i wore them so much the school gave me a free 68 dollar pair of shoes because they thought i couldnt afford shoes. I like to keep them polished i polish them twice a weak very shiny although not like a mirror. ( i would like it to be) plus i also wear them as a means of self defense. You cant carry your gun everywhere nor your knife. and sometimes when an attack is so close up you might not be able to swing.... BUT you can always wear your steel toed boots. an no matter how light you kick you will get an ow out of most people. ( my friend kicked me once with his tennis shoes i forgot i was wearing them an kicked him lightly an it left a welt on his ankle). So what do you think are black steel toed boots fashionable? I know that punks wear combat boots but i cant afford combat boots. my style is a mixture of different things sometimes its punk or emo or scene ( which is what i like) but normaly since my mom an me have no money i have to deal with normal t shirts jeans different colored shorts. I wish i could just wear what i want to wear but im very limited to what my grandparents buy me. =_= they think those little cartoon creatures you see on the hot topic t shirts that say stuff like come to the dark side we have brownies are demonic . ( my grandparents are in there seventies.) So what do you think about steel toed boots as a fashion statement,saftey wear and a self defense weapon? oh and no skinheads sometimes people call me a skin head at school an do the hale hitler sign to make fun of me :( doesnt help when my great grandfathers family is germans irishmen. oh an any ideas on how i could make outfits that i like out of what my grandparents buy me? like make them more punk or gothic or emoish? i also kind of want to get into the fashion designing of my own clothes but i suck at drawling stuff was never taught an never realy picked up on it cause i got kicked out of normal school
